This Flower Patterns Coloring Book by Alexandra Doffing is Awesome! I have just recently started coloring flowers to try and start learning how to blend and shade. I even tried a new medium in this book. It was a truly rewarding experience. Not only are the flower images gorgeous but trying out the new medium was cool too. I color because I need to relieve stress and this book has really helped me do that.
There are 30 amazing flower or foliage type images. You will see everything from Dahlias to Succulents and Ferns to Pine Bows. There are so many Beautiful Blossoms in here. Each flower or foliage has some great details that will come to life as soon as you start to add color. There are very few intricate details in this book. I love that it can be colored by everyone.
The majority of the images are full page that go into the binding. I split them up into groups. There are 17 images that are full page that go into the binding, 6 that are full page but they don’t go into the binding and there are 6 that are pretty centered.
This is medium weight bright white paper and these pages are not perforated but they are easy enough to get out as long as you pull the binding open as much as possible and score along it with some scissors. I used Alcohol Markers to color the image you see in the video and it did seep through the paper.
I did color more after the video and taking pictures. Some Gel Pens bleed through and some don’t. The wetter the medium is the more likely it is that it will bleed. I always suggest that you just put 2 pieces of paper under the page you are working on to prevent any mishaps. Although I love that you can use any medium in this book. Anything from Crayons all the way to markers. The choice is yours. Just make sure you are having fun!
This is Alexandra’s 1st published book. She has her own website that she can be found at or you can find her on her Facebook. She very much enjoys illustrating and painting. She is also a designer and would very much love to produce her designs. She is multi-talented and just loves to create beautiful things. She loves to cook and travel also.
I am really enjoying this book as I love coloring flowers and foliage. I was fortune enough to receive Stress Relieving Flower Patterns in exchange for my HONEST and UNBIASED review.

There are 7 sections in this book so there is something for everyone in the house. There are images in here for men, women and children. This is a great book for a beginner or an experienced colorist. In each of these sections the images range from simple easy to color images to intricate ones. These pages are not perforated so if you want to remove your picture I suggest scoring it close to the binding and removing it carefully.
The paper is light weight so if you are using Gel Pens or Markers I suggest that you ALWAYS use a couple sheets of paper under the page you are coloring. You can use any medium you desire in this book because of the range of images. Anything from Crayons to Fineline Markers will work. I have them all and will use them all. This will make the PERFECT gift for the Beginning or Experienced Colorist in your life!! This Birds of the World by Remy Is a really GREAT coloring book. It has a really nice assortment of pictures to color. There are a lot of pictures in here that are really simple to color and some are a little more complex. This is definitely something a beginner can work with. There are only in here that are intricate and in my opinion they are not anything that a beginner can’t try and do. I always say that it only takes a willingness to try and you can accomplish anything.
There are 30 different pictures to color and of course they range from scenes suck as waterscapes to landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty. I really like the ones that have the repeating patterns and I am eager to get into those. I color because it helps to calm my Anxiety. You have everything from Hummingbirds, Toucans, Peacocks and Eagles. You have Mack Trucks, Landscapes, Cityscapes, and even a Person.
The paper is light weight and your mediums will bleed through unless you are using Crayons or Coloring Pencils. My suggestion is that you always use a piece of paper behind the sheet you are coloring. I used Gel pens on my picture and forgot to put a sheet of paper behind it. It did bleed through a little but not enough as to ruin the next page. The back of the pages are black which is a MUST for me.
These pages are not perforated but if you want to remove a page all you have to do is score the page at the Bind and pull it out like that. I really like that there are a couple pages in the back to check out your colors before putting them to the page you are coloring. I really like this book a lot and can’t wait to finish my Peacock! I was lucky enough to receive this Birds of the World Coloring Book in exchange for my honest review.

This is another GREAT Adult Coloring Book from Blue Star. It is a soft back book and made very well. Every Blue Star Coloring Book that I have gotten has one picture per page and this one is no different. I love that the back of the page is blank because you don’t have to worry about ruining another picture if you are using markers or gel pens. This book is for Absolutely EVERYONE!! There are very few pages in here that is crazy intricate. It only takes the willing to try to do a page like that though!
There are 54 pictures to colors and they are printed on medium weight bright white paper. The pictures are printed great and a lot of them are bordered pictured. The pictures are flowing and imaginative throughout the entire book. The pictures vary a lot between really easy to intricate. While the cover photo is not in the book there is a picture somewhat like it. The pages are not perforated but it is easy to get them out. I just use a pair of scissors and run them along the inside at the bind and then tear it out. I would LOVE it if they started perforating the pages.
There are over 20 bordered full page images and a wide variety of other pictures printed in the middle of the page such as circles, rectangles, squares, a heart and miscellaneous shapes. I used Gel Pens to color on one page and I did use a piece of paper between the sheets as it is a habit but they did NOT bleed through. I still always suggest using a sheet between the pages. You can use Crayons, Coloring Pencils, Gel Pens, Marker or Fine liners.
There are a couple of blank pages in the back for color testing. I really love this book! I received Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Patterns Volume 2 in exchange for my HONEST and UNBIASED review.
