This is a really great book! Mandalas are my favorite thing to color. I color to help relieve stress and anxiety due to my PTSD. I really like the fact that this is an Animal Mandala book also. There are 30 images in here for you to color. She really has a great imagination and the way she has put these together is perfect.
The majority of these are intricate images but there are some that are pretty easy to do. These are really unique as Wendy does a great job adding her own style. I first got interested in her books when I was at Wal-Mart a saw a book that was a compilation of her books. I’m the kind of person who likes to own the whole collection and not just a compilation and so I set out and accomplish to do so with the exception of her newest book which has not been released yet.
You will find Animals like Turtles, Horses, Birds, Butterflies, Swans and more. This book is 9 1/4 x 7 1/2 and is the perfect size to take along to any appointment. I can just put it in my purse along with some pens and go. These images are printed on single sided medium weight paper. The pages are not perforated but they are easy enough to get out if you just score along the binding. The pictures are all centered so you don’t have to worry about ruining any of them when trying to get an image out.
I used Gel Pens that were quick drying so they did not bleed all the way through but you can see the ink on the back of the page. I just placed a couple sheets of paper under the picture I was working on to make sure I didn’t ruin the next image. This book is great for Colored Pencils, Gel Pens, and Fine line pens or markers. The more wet the ink the apt it will bleed. At the bottom of each page Coloring Animal Mandalas is printed but if you are framing these pictures it will easily be covered by the frame.
I really do love this book and enjoyed every minute coloring in it. Since making this video I have colored more and I will continue to. I was fortunate enough to receive this book Coloring Animal Mandalas in exchange for my HONEST and UNBIASED review
